Door Supervisor Training Including First Aid and Free Resits

This is the most popular security course that we offer and for one simple reason – it gives candidates the best possible chance of securing a job.

Did you know that a Door Supervisor can also work as a security guard and in most cases is more likely in securing a job?

Door Supervisors can also work at licensed premises such as pubs, clubs, festivals, retail premises, commercial premises, shopping centers, static sites, airports, hotels, gatehouses, construction sites, train stations, empty or void buildings, and anywhere alcohol is being served.

Once you successfully complete your Door Supervisor course, you will be able to apply for your SIA Door Supervisor Licence.  It is a legal requirement that you have completed the SIA Licence Training and hold a valid SIA license before you start working in the private security industry in the UK.

The SIA Door Supervisor course is divided into 4 units:

  • Principles of Working in the Private Security Industry
  • Principles of Working as a Door Supervisor in the Private Security Industry
  • Application of Conflict Management in the Private Security Industry
  • Application of Physical Intervention Skills in the Private Security Industry

The Course duration is 6 days. Candidates must complete one day of Emergency First Aid at Work (efaw) before they start the Door Supervision course (introduced from 1st April 2021).

On the final day of the course, there will be 4 multiple-choice exams and a practical assessment of the physical intervention skills you will be taught in the course.

Everything you require to know for the examination is covered during the Door Supervisor Training Course and your expert instructor will fully prepare you for success in your tests.

We have an excellent pass rate, thanks to our competent instructors.

From 01 April 2021 learners taking their Door Supervision training for the first time will need to show that they hold a current and valid First Aid or Emergency First Aid certificate. This must meet the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. Training centers must confirm that each learner is sufficiently qualified in First Aid or Emergency First Aid.

If you already have completed the first aid course, you will be required to present your First Aid or Emergency First Aid certificate to us before you start training. This certificate must be valid for at least 12 months from the course start date.

Minimum Entry requirements:

  • English level 1
